If you've been following my blog, you might be starting to wonder if this is just gonna be another boring blog about the Bachelorette since that's all I have posted the last few times.... Fear not! I am still working so hard to organize posts about topics that not only I love & enjoy, but that you will also.
With that being said, let me jump right in on last nights episode of the Bachelorette. Is anyone else getting bored with the Nick drama?? It's been how long & Shawn still hasn't come to terms. That is what you call a stage 5 clinger (sorry Shawn, I do love your odd resemblance to Ryan Gossling, you just need to chill a little bit). Any-who, the charming Ben H was asked on the one on one date this week, he is just so adorable!! Kaitlyn & Ben H seem to get along really well, but I feel like he's a little too nice and too pretty boy for Kaitlyn. I say that like I spend a lot of quality time with her...which I do. Every Monday night for 2 hours. 😉 Kaitlyn of course opened up to Ben saying he's husband material and shares during her interview that she feels really good about Ben. So at this moment in time, I'm betting Kaitlyn is thinking "he's the one." Typical....
The group date this week was Joe, Nick and Shawn. Even if you didn't watch, you could probably guess how it turned out, but if you can't...I'll go ahead and tell you. Joe and Kaitlyn had some alone time and Joe shared with Kaitlyn in his sweet sweet accent that he was in love with her. Yep. You read that right. IN love with her. Not falling in love, but he was in love with her. He even said it in a sentence filled with the words "baby girl." Now maybe it was just me, but Kaitlyn could barely keep a straight face. She obviously knew Joe wasn't the one for her, therefore she said goodbye to him somewhat brutally. Joe was not happy about this and stormed out like a baby.
Later in the date, Kaitlyn returned telling Shawn and Nick that she had sent Joe home so then she decided she didn't need more time with Nick but instead she needed some time with Shawn. & you betcha, she told Shawn about sleeping with Nick!!!! Shawn took the news a little better than I expected. He first said that he was gonna man up and not let it interfere with their relationship. Welllllllll after being called first for the rose at the ceremony (which left out a cocktail party), Shawn said he needed to talk to Kaitlyn and questions why she had sex with Nick, saying, "why him?" Kaitlyn questioned his trust for her (go girl!!) and he obviously accepted the rose because he "cant give up on this girl!!!!"
Jarod got sent home, gracefully. He was such a gentleman. So kind hearted. Being in the final four, he really put himself in a good place to be the next Bachelor (although I would really like to see Ben H take it home). Let's be honest though, he was never the one for Kaitlyn.
Since this seasons episodes don't end with rose ceremonies anymore, it went on to the fantasy suite dates. Nick was up first (go figure). I think that their date went well, they really vibe together but I was happy to see that Kaitlyn can question whether she only feels so strong about Nick in the moment. Sometime in the date Nick was bashing Shawn, and Kaitlyn kind of set him back in his place. Those boys really hate each other. Overall they had a sweet suite date & I absolutely loved Kaitlyn's lace robe.
Ending the episode with another "to be continued..." Shawn comes to Nick's room yet again questioning his intentions, will they fight? Will they make up? Ha! I guess we will find out.
The season is wrapping up, I'm hoping to do a season closing post reflecting on who I think will win Kaitlyn's heart and why.
New posts are coming this week on my eyelash review after I get my first fill & I'll be posting my June favorites (which will hopefully include some videos!) What were you loving during the month of June?
With love & a sprinkle of sarcasm,
